But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Imagination is a gift from a loving Creator so we can look at the boundless wonders of Creation in awe and know there is so much more than we can imagine waiting for us. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 His Creation goes far beyond what our eyes can see.
Throughout the Bible we learn that our hearts and minds are connected in such a way that “as a man thinks so he is. “Proverbs 23:7
So we are to remember “, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8 and “Keep your heart with all vigilance for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:8 in order that “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,..” 2 Corinthians 10:5
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; “Genesis 1:27 God imagined the world into existence- (Genesis 1:1) therefore, as His image bearers, we are gifted with an imagination but we must always use it to His glory. “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:1 and “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit,” Colossians 2:8 for “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:8
Jesus calls us to use our imaginations, to picture in our minds the promise of eternity with Him. If our hearts have been saved by His grace , our minds will follow suit.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:3
Our imaginations allow us to live by faith in what we may not see yet- what a precious gift that we must treasure and be transformed and led by the Holy Spirit in our heart.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or imagine, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Amen 🙏❤️🫶🙌🏽
