"The Power of Harmony: Understanding Paul's Message to the Church"

Perfect harmony for a music lover is when every instrument and voice can be distinguished but also so completely together, there is no dissonance. That is what Paul was telling the church at Colossae and to show the power of harmony. ”Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.“ Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭13‬

Happy Valentine's Day

Put on all these beautiful virtues but above all put on love- Agape love. The self-sacrificial love demonstrated by the only perfect man, Jesus Christ. That perfect love of Christ brings all together in perfect harmony. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.“ Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬, ‭8‬-‭9‬

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13

We can never attain perfect love without Christ for it is only through Him that we can be righteous in the sight of God. Without Him, I am like a non-tuned instrument or a voice out of key. But through Jesus, I can attain what Matthew 5:48 says “Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect".

”Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.”

1 Peter 4:8
